PetroQuest oil and gas magazine was founded in late 2016 by a group of young petroleum engineers who saw the need of a platform that connect the regulating authorities and the host communities to the major investors and services companies in East Africa and South Sudan in particular. Oil and gas industry has been seen either as a cased or blessing depending on how a country blessed with natural resources chose to manage its wealth. PetroQuest take up the role of promoting prudent management of the extractive industries and fair and competitive business dealings from major investors in East Africa. The magazine promotes best practices in term of resources wealth accountability, doing less harm to environment by companies and making readily available information about the extractive industries to citizens of the countries making up East Africa.
